He is a Research Professor and Head of the Department of Marine Resources of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute-Mérida Unit, Mexico. Founding Director of the School of Natural Resources of the Marista University of Mérida, Mexico. General Director of the Southeast Aquaculture Development Company. He is an International Consultant for the Program to Support the Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Central American Isthmus (PRADEPESCA-European Union). His 35-year career includes work on issues of international trade and aquaculture promotion. Between 1991 and 2001, the McKnight's company helped launch Chilean salmon in the US market and worked for SalmonChile on international trade issues. She was also director of communications for the Global Aquaculture Alliance. Aimee rae Director of Policy and Public Affairs, Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance (CAIA) Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and Master of Economics from University of Guelph, Canada. He joined CAIA in early 2021 after practicing most of his career at the Canadian Export Credit Agency, where he specialized in country risk, economic forecasting and international trade agreements at the OECD. At CAIA, he manages the policy as well as regulatory affairs and member engagement of the Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance, through the various CAIA member technical committees. Club Innovación Acuícola es invitado como expositor en Aquafuture 2022 - España Entre el 23 al 25 de marzo de 2022, se llevó a cabo el 1º Salón Internacional de la Industria Acuícola, de manera presencial y virtual, en la ciudad de Santiago de la Compostela, España. El evento, tuvo como objetivo, reunir al sector acuícola internacional, en el que poder actualizarse sobre las últimas innovaciones tecnológicas y estrategias del mercado, siempre bajo el enfoque de la sostenibilidad y la gestión sostenible de los recursos. ​​ Dentro del programa de conferencias, el cual estuvo compuesto de 6 jornadas de mesas redondas con participación de expertos de la industria a nivel mundial, Chile fue invitado a través del Club Innovación Acuícola , el cual fue representado por su Director Ejecutivo, Adolfo Alvial. Junto a los expertos de Francia y Portugal, en esta oportunidad, Adolfo Alvial compartió la experiencia de nuestro país, a través del Club Innovación Acuícola, en la "Clusterización como instrumento para el desarrollo competitivo y sostenible de la acuicultura".

Tres intensos días de reuniones se sostuvieron en el stand de Club Innovación Acuícola en feria Aquasur ​ Además del espacio al que tuvieron derecho las empresas auspiciadoras, todos los asociados a Club Innovación Acuícola contaron con beneficios como: Presencia a través de su logo en gráfica y videos del stand comunitario. Nuevos Asociados ingresan a Club Innovación Acuícola En sesión del pasado 4 de abril, el Directorio del Club Innovación Acuícola confirmó el ingreso como miembros asociados de las empresas Hendrix Genetics y MSD , atendidos los méritos en I+D+i de ambas empresas y el valioso aporte que ellas pueden hacer en beneficio de innovaciones dirigidas a resolver los grandes desafíos de la industria en su presente y futuro. ​ La selección de líneas genéticas mejor adaptadas a condiciones cambiantes, tanto ambientales y sanitarias, como en tecnologías de cultivo, resulta de alto valor estratégico para la empresa Hendrix Genetics, la cual ha puesto especial atención a las necesidades específicas del país. Por otra parte, MSD sostiene el afán de un acompañamiento integral a las empresas del sector, para lo cual constantemente actualiza los ámbitos de necesidades de la industria, incorporando nuevas soluciones y respuestas a su oferta de productos y servicios. Eduardo Mas agregó que “esperamos que sumen toda su experiencia y voluntad de colaboración a los esfuerzos de alcanzar una salmonicultura competitiva y sostenible”. Adolfo Alvial, Director ejecutivo del Club destacó además las capacidades en I+D+i de los líderes de ambas empresas y su experiencia y conocimiento del sector. Por parte de los nuevos miembros del Club, Rodrigo Torrijo señaló que "desde Hendrix Genetics veníamos siguiendo lo que desarrolla el Club Innovación Acuícola, lo cuál nos parecía muy interesante no solo por promover la innovación, sino que ser una plataforma para nuevos emprendedores y nuevas soluciones generadas en las Regiones acuícolas, donde el ecosistema que se genera, hay que apoyar". En tanto Oscar Parra explicó que"desde MSD salud animal, lo que nos mueve en gran medida, es lo mismo que al Club Innovación Acuícola, la innovación, y eso es lo que atrajo. Nos permite salir un poco de nuestros negocios y ponernos en la posición de poder empujar esta industria que nos apasiona tanto". ​ BIENVENIDOS !!!
